Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, in partnership with Moët & Chandon, invites guests to experience the Mediterranean with the opening of Mistral, an all-new terrace inspired by the coastal ambience of the south of France.

The secluded oasis, located on the fifth floor of the Hotel, offers an intimate setting adorned with luscious greenery and pastel décor. Meticulously designed by Madame Bombance, olive trees, hanging flowers and an assortment of lanterns create a path leading guests to the picturesque terrace with a Provence-like feel. Entering the terrace, guests are treated to the best view in the city, with a sweeping skyline and the iconic Leonard Cohen Crescent Street Mural visible from every point in the space.

Once seated, guests are transported to a culinary journey featuring the region’s beloved summer favourites. The expertly curated menu by Chef Hugo Belanger features fresh ceviche with yuzu, delectable oysters and panzanella with heirloom tomatoes and feta. Award-winning Head Mixologist Jonathan Homier brings a splash of fun into his thoughtfully designed cocktail menu. In particular, the Pinky Promise features refreshing flavours such as lemon, honey and citrus, perfect to enjoy on a warm Montreal evening. For those wishing to sip on Champagne, the vast selection of Moët & Chandon is a menu highlight.

“We’re excited for all our guests, locals and travellers alike to experience another elevated culinary experience that encompasses the world of Four Seasons,” says David Wilkie, General Manager. “Mistral, referencing the Mediterranean winds, allows guests to drift away to the coast of Provence by way of delicious drinks and fresh fare while dining al fresco in the heart of the city.”

Mistral opens on July 1 until the end of summer 2021. Open four days a week on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Reservations are highly encouraged as limited walk-ins are available.

As the world collectively responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal continues to ensure that the health and safety of all guests and employees remain a top priority. Grounded in the principles of care, trust and service, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has introduced an enhanced global health and safety program, Lead With Care, which ensures a safe and enjoyable stay for all. Through this program and collaboration, Four Seasons is leveraging world-class medical expertise to enhance cleanliness, guest comfort and safety, and employee training.
