Hotel Fénix Gran Meliá will recreate the excitement of a Formula 1 pit stop at Margaret Thatcher Square with Balmoral’s Grid, offering visitors an engaging experience inspired by classic motorsport culture.

The centrepiece of the activation will be a collection of exclusive signature cocktails created by the Balmoral team for the occasion. Using vintage-style petrol pumps as interactive stations, guests will select their preferred cocktail and receive a ticket that can later be exchanged for their chosen drink at the hotel.

Each petrol pump will record visitor selections, while a live ranking screen will display the performance of every cocktail competing in the activation. Every ticket will become a vote, with each creation racing to secure the title of Balmoral’s Pole Position at the end of the event.

The experience will also feature several creative spaces designed to encourage visitor participation, including a vintage-inspired photo booth, motor racing-themed graphics and dedicated photo opportunities capturing the atmosphere of the event.
