As a partner for the 2021 US Open Grand Slam® tennis tournament, Emirates is returning to one of the most prominent spots in global sporting events. Emirates has been a consistent partner for the prestigious tennis championship for the last 15 years. This year, Emirates is taking their trademark fly better strategy beyond the actual aircraft. Emirates will be offering premium experiences to fans, players and guests as well as travelers to the US Open during the tournament that runs from August 30 through September 13.
The partnership will see Emirates combine luxury hospitality, exclusive fan engagement activities and specially designed inflight experiences to celebrate the excitement of global tennis. From a redesigned premium suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium to US Open-inspired menus at 40,000 feet, the airline is creating a connection between world-class sport and its renowned service experience.

The centrepiece of Emirates’ US Open presence will be its newly redesigned hospitality suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium, offering guests an immersive environment inspired by the airline’s award-winning premium cabins.
Covering 1,579 square feet, the luxury suite has been transformed into a sophisticated space that reflects the elegance, comfort and style associated with Emirates’ First Class and Business Class experiences. The design features contemporary interiors, premium wood finishes, modern colour schemes and cream leather seating inspired by the airline’s aircraft cabins.

Guests attending the tournament will enjoy a combination of premium dining, exclusive beverages and exceptional views of the tennis action. The space has been created to provide a seamless blend of Emirates’ onboard hospitality and the energy of one of the world’s most celebrated sporting events.
For the first time, the suite will feature a recreation of Emirates’ famous A380 onboard bar experience. The iconic lounge concept, known for offering passengers a social space at cruising altitude, will be brought to the stadium environment with a specially curated beverage selection.
The addition aims to provide visitors with a unique hospitality experience where luxury travel meets elite tennis. Guests will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the US Open while experiencing elements usually associated with Emirates’ premium aircraft cabins.
The redesigned suite will welcome sports fans, celebrities, athletes, tennis legends and invited guests throughout the two-week tournament, offering a private setting to watch some of the biggest matches of the championship.

Beyond its luxury hospitality offerings, Emirates will also engage directly with tennis supporters through a range of interactive activities during the tournament.
One of the highlights will be Emirates Day on 31 August, when the airline’s cabin crew will participate in a special on-court “Ball Flight” activity at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Following selected matches, winning players will sign tennis balls before they are launched into the stadium stands, giving fans the opportunity to win tickets for the Men’s Singles Semifinal matches.
Visitors attending the US Open will also have the chance to explore Emirates’ promotional area, featuring interactive games, entertainment activities and opportunities to win exclusive prizes, including flights to Dubai and other rewards.
The activities are designed to bring fans closer to the tournament while showcasing Emirates’ global brand identity and connection with international sporting communities.
The US Open celebrations will extend from the stadium to the skies, with Emirates introducing specially created food and beverage experiences for passengers travelling on selected flights between Dubai and destinations across its US network.
From 23 August to 13 September, travellers will be able to enjoy tennis-inspired culinary offerings designed to capture the atmosphere and flavours of the tournament at 40,000 feet.
Passengers will discover themed treats including tennis ball-inspired pastries, US Open chocolate creations and specially prepared desserts such as key lime cupcakes and chocolate hazelnut Bundt cake.
The airline will also serve the tournament’s signature cocktail, the GREY GOOSE Honey Deuce®, allowing passengers to enjoy one of the most recognisable flavours associated with the US Open.
The cocktail experience will be complemented by selected food pairings, including goat cheese, chicken nuggets, caviar and Beef Prosciutto options.
Emirates will provide different culinary experiences across its cabin classes, ensuring passengers throughout the aircraft can enjoy the spirit of the tournament.
First Class travellers will receive an elevated dining experience featuring premium seafood selections, USDA Prime fillet mignon and specially created desserts inspired by classic American favourites.
Business Class passengers will enjoy dishes such as lobster rolls, smoked salmon and New York cheesecake. Similar themed offerings will also be available at Emirates airport lounges in Dubai and selected US locations.
Passengers travelling in Premium Economy and Economy cabins will be able to enjoy a selection of comfort-focused dishes, including meatball rigatoni, barbecue chicken, pecan cheesecake and banana toffee crisp.
The tennis theme will continue throughout the passenger journey, with US Open-inspired details such as branded beverage coasters and specially designed headrest covers adding tournament touches onboard.
Premium cabin customers departing from selected lounges will also have access to additional dining options, including truffle macaroni and cheese, barbecue short ribs and nachos with dips.
Travellers flying during the tournament period will be able to follow the action even while travelling through Emirates’ ice inflight entertainment system.
Live coverage of the US Open will be available on selected flights through Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, allowing passengers to watch matches and follow important moments from the championship in real time.
Alongside live sports coverage, Emirates customers can access thousands of entertainment options through the airline’s extensive inflight entertainment platform, ensuring passengers remain connected with the world of tennis while travelling internationally.
The US Open partnership forms part of Emirates’ wider commitment to supporting global sports and connecting communities through major international events.
The airline has developed one of the world’s largest sports sponsorship portfolios, supporting competitions and organisations across football, rugby, sailing, horse racing, cricket, cycling and tennis.
In tennis, Emirates maintains a strong presence across all four Grand Slam® tournaments, reinforcing its position as a global supporter of the sport.
The US Open remains one of the most important events within Emirates’ tennis programme, bringing together millions of fans, athletes and international visitors every year at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Through its continued partnership, Emirates aims to deliver premium experiences that combine sporting excitement, luxury hospitality and global connectivity.
As the tournament returns, the airline will once again showcase how travel and sport can come together to create memorable experiences both on the ground and in the air.
