Waterstone Spa has expanded out of Ashland, Oregon, now offering a wellness retreat space with their new Amethyst Lounge. The Amethyst Lounge provides guests with serene relaxing and meditative space prior to and after spa treatments. Together with their existing services, Waterstone strives to help their guests feel even more complete and whole.

The new lounge is designed as a peaceful sanctuary where visitors can step away from busy routines and enjoy moments of stillness. It provides a comfortable environment for guests to gather, unwind and prepare for their wellness journey or continue relaxing after treatments.

Inspired by the natural beauty and calming appearance of amethyst quartz, the lounge combines crystal-inspired design with sensory elements intended to create a soothing atmosphere. The space features amethyst and geode pieces, soft ambient lighting, relaxing seating, a flowing wall fountain and carefully layered textures that add warmth and comfort.

The design approach focuses on creating a multi-sensory experience. Along with visual elements inspired by nature, the lounge includes a gentle airflow feature that adds a subtle feeling of freshness and movement within the space. These details work together to create an environment centred around relaxation, mindfulness and emotional balance.
