The current 14109/14110 Chitrakutdham Karwi-Kanpur Central Express and 14123/14124 Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh-Kanpur Central Express will operate as a single extended service under the name 14123/14124 Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh-Chitrakutdham Karwi Express.

The merged service will simplify travel by removing the need for passengers to switch trains at Kanpur Central. This will provide a smoother journey experience for travellers moving between the Chitrakoot area and the Lucknow-Pratapgarh corridor.

The route will connect key stations such as Pratapgarh, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Unnao, Kanpur Central, Hamirpur Road, Banda, Atarra and Chitrakutdham Karwi.

Coach Increase Doubles Passenger Handling Capacity

The biggest advantage of the train merger will be the expansion of passenger capacity. The number of coaches will rise from 12 to 24, allowing the service to carry significantly more passengers on each journey.

Train No. 51673 Itarsi-Madan Mahal Passenger will begin its journey from Itarsi at 11:40 a.m. and reach Madan Mahal at 4:45 p.m.

The return service, Train No. 51674 Madan Mahal-Itarsi Passenger, will leave Madan Mahal at 5:50 p.m. and arrive at Itarsi at 10:55 p.m.

Covering a distance of 242 kilometres, the train will complete the journey in around five hours and five minutes.

The passenger service will stop at several stations, including Bagra Tawa, Sohagpur, Pipariya, Bankhedi, Salichauka Road, Gadarwara, Kareli, Narsinghpur and Sridham.
