Nicholas Untermann to Oversee New York Flagship Operations
As General Manager, Untermann will lead the operational preparations and management of Viceroy Park Avenue. His responsibilities will include establishing service standards, developing the hotel’s workforce and coordinating the different departments ahead of the scheduled opening.
He joins Viceroy from Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, where he most recently served as General Manager.

Untermann joined Terranea in 2023 as Resort Manager before being promoted in 2025. During his tenure, he oversaw operations at the 102-acre coastal resort, which features 582 accommodations alongside restaurants, wellness facilities and leisure experiences.
His previous experience includes leadership positions at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, Beach Village at The Del, L’Auberge Del Mar and Ojai Valley Inn.

His career has covered several hotel departments, including food and beverage, concierge services, front office operations and rooms management.
Untermann also serves on the Forbes Travel Guide Standards Advisory Committee, contributing industry expertise to discussions about international luxury hospitality standards.
Viceroy Park Avenue to Feature 252 Rooms and Luxury Facilities
Located at the intersection of Park Avenue South and 29th Street, Viceroy Park Avenue will introduce a new luxury accommodation option in Manhattan’s NoMad neighbourhood.
