ACI World Elevates Global Standards with 2025 Airport Experience World Summit at China’s Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Airports Council International (ACI) World has confirmed that the 2025 ACI World Airport Experience Summit will be held at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport from 8–11 September in Guangzhou, China. This announcement follows the official handover during the Closing Ceremony of the 2024 ACI World Customer Experience Summit and Exhibition, the event’s previous iteration.

China’s role as a global aviation powerhouse is underscored by its rapidly expanding network of airports and airlines, solidifying its position as a key hub for international travel and trade. With significant investments in aviation infrastructure and a thriving domestic market, the country continues to drive innovation and growth within the global aviation sector.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, one of China’s busiest, handled over 73 million passengers in 2019 and claimed the title of the world’s busiest airport during the first year of the pandemic. Maintaining its momentum, the airport remained China’s busiest in 2023, boasting a remarkable 142% increase in passenger traffic last year.

The 2025 summit in Guangzhou is expected to showcase the future of airport experiences, making it a landmark event for the aviation industry.
