AEGEAN and Olympic Air flight changes for February 28 2024 due to possible strike

AEGEAN and Olympic Air wish to announce to all passengers scheduled to travel on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. This announcement comes in response to the recent notification from the Hellenic Air Traffic Controllers Union (EEEKE) about their participation in the 24-hour general strike called by ADEDY.

The airlines are closely monitoring the situation and are awaiting the issuance of the official NOTAM concerning flight cancellations. This NOTAM is to be granted by the competent Civil Aviation Authority, which will provide further clarity on the operational status of flights scheduled for that day.

In anticipation of possible disruptions to their travel plans, passengers are being offered the opportunity to change their tickets. This policy is being implemented to accommodate any inconveniences that may arise due to the strike action and the pending notifications.

Accordingly, passengers can make changes to their tickets without any reissue fee or fare difference. AEGEAN and Olympic Air are committed to ensuring that their passengers’ travel plans are minimally affected during this period of uncertainty.
