AEGEAN Finalizes Share Transfer, Memento Group Takes Full Ownership of Animawings

AEGEAN has successfully completed the process of transferring its shares in the Romanian airline Animawings to Memento Group, its joint venture partner and the primary commercial force behind Animawings. This strategic move has resulted in Memento Group becoming the sole proprietor of Animawings, marking a significant transition for both entities involved.

In alignment with this transfer, one of the two aircraft that were leased to Animawings has been returned to AEGEAN. The airline anticipates the return of the second aircraft in the coming months. This reacquisition is timely, as it supports AEGEAN’s growing operational demands, which stem from an expansion of its network.

This development is part of a broader strategy to optimize AEGEAN’s resources and operational capabilities. By reallocating assets such as aircraft, AEGEAN aims to enhance its service offerings and address the increased network capacity requirements efficiently.
