Air Serbia has announced its commitment to operate from New York’s prestigious New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport, which is set to welcome travelers in 2026. This development is part of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey’s ambitious $19 billion JFK Airport redevelopment plan.

Currently, Air Serbia conducts its operations from Terminal 1 at JFK, offering flights up to seven times a week between Belgrade and JFK. The airline initiated its JFK services in 2026, and its engagement with the New Terminal One is a testament to its deepening ties with New York City.

To date, New Terminal One has disclosed partnerships with seven airlines, including Air France, KLM, Etihad, Korean Air, LOT Polish Airlines, EVA Air, and Air Serbia, with plans to reveal additional partners soon. Aimed to be among the top 5 Skytrax terminals worldwide, the New Terminal One promises cutting-edge technology alongside an exceptional retail and dining experience, deeply infused with New York’s unique character.

The terminal’s initial phase, featuring the main building and 14 gates, is slated for completion in June 2026, with the entire terminal expected to be operational by 2030. Upon completion, the terminal will encompass 23 gates across 2.4 million square feet, making it the largest international terminal at JFK, replacing the existing Terminal 1 as well as the former Terminals 2 and 3.
