In January 2024, Air Serbia transported 269,725 passengers, marking a 23% rise from January 2023. During this period, the airline completed 3,457 flights, which is an increase of 700 flights from the previous January. This achievement represents Air Serbia’s strongest performance for the month of January since the airline rebranded in 2013.

“The past year has been among the most triumphant periods for our airline since its inception nearly 97 years ago. We were honored to serve 4.19 million passengers, introduce 23 new routes, enhance and modernize our fleet, welcome hundreds of new staff members, and appoint 23 new captains. We take great pride in these accomplishments and recognize the complexities of the aviation sector, where success depends on a multitude of factors. Our January performance, with an uplift of over 50,000 passengers compared to January 2023, reflects our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. We are optimistic that this upward trend will persist,” expressed Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.

In January 2024, the airline’s most frequented routes to Western Europe included Zurich, Paris, Vienna, Milan, and Rome. Regionally, Podgorica and Tivat were the top destinations, while Istanbul, Barcelona, and Athens led in the broader Euro-Mediterranean region.
