AirDNA sets new benchmark in short-term rental management through Uplisting acquisition

Today, AirDNA, a prominent provider of short-term rental (STR) data, has officially acquired Uplisting, a vacation rental software and channel management system. This strategic move represents a significant step forward in AirDNA’s mission to offer a comprehensive, all-encompassing solution for individuals investing in and managing short-term rental properties.

Demi Horvat, the CEO of AirDNA, expressed the vision behind the acquisition, stating, “By merging Uplisting’s top-tier property management tools with our unparalleled market insights, we aim to provide holistic, customized solutions for all stakeholders in the STR sector. This integration arms users with powerful tools throughout their journey, from research and investment to the setup and continuous optimization of their properties.”

Uplisting, recognized as an Airbnb Preferred Plus software partner, is renowned for its effective management and synchronization of STR listings on major platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com. Through automation of essential tasks like real-time booking updates and guest communication, Uplisting has become essential in optimizing the operations of vacation rental hosts and property managers globally. In 2023, Uplisting processed approximately $400 million in bookings, leveraging reliable technology tools that drive growth.

This highly requested functionality empowers users to maximize booking revenues by utilizing extensive data from millions of listings on Airbnb and Vrbo, providing effective pricing recommendations.

This acquisition follows AirDNA’s previous acquisition of Arrivalist in July 2023, highlighting the company’s dynamic expansion within predictis, a family of software-enabled data businesses and a portfolio company of Alpine Investors.
