Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority starts video competition

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority’s Regional Director together with the Executive Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation are hosting Andhra Pradesh Tourism Video Competition, in regard to the impending World Tourism Day, all set to be organized on September 27 th .

On September 14 th , the Regional Director of Tourism Department, Srinivasa Pani, said that people who are interested could develop and upload a maximum of three-minutes video of any tourist attraction in the six districts like Parvathipuram-Manyam, Srikakulam, Alluri Sitharamaraju, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, and Anakapalli.

He mentioned that the video should emphasize the attraction’s exclusive feature. Candidates may also want to highlight lesser-known tourist spots in this video, and these will be given more importance. He added that for the videos, the voice-over language shall be either English or Telugu.

In this competition, only People from Parvathipuram-Manyam, Srikakulam, Alluri Sitharama Raju, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, and Anakapalli districts can take part and for submitting the videos, the deadline is 5 p.m., September 25. By the APTA, an illustrious panel of judges will be appointed for the assessment of the videos. The first prize winner will get a cash prize of ₹10,000 followed by ₹5,000 and ₹3,000 for the second and third spots respectively.
