In celebration of Manama being designated as the Gulf tourism capital for 2024, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) is excited to announce the release of the “Ramadan in Bahrain” tourism guide. Commencing at the Bahrain National Theatre, this initiative invites global visitors to delve into the rich cultural tapestry of the season.
The guide offers a diverse range of tourist events, including iftar and suhoor options, alongside luxurious accommodation packages, ensuring an unforgettable experience throughout the holy month of Ramadan. Live performances, bustling bazaars, delectable food stalls, and more promise an immersive cultural journey for all participants.
Sarah Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of BTEA, emphasized the authority’s dedication to year-round tourism momentum by launching collaborative initiatives with the private sector during Ramadan. Highlighting the significance of the “Ramadan in Bahrain” guide, Buhiji aims to spotlight Bahrain’s captivating attractions and diverse landmarks, extending a warm welcome to families and individuals alike.
Numerous venues across the kingdom, such as Marassi Galleria, Al Liwan, The Avenues, Souq Al Baraha, and Seef Mall-Seef District, will host a plethora of entertaining events during Ramadan. From Gergaoon festivities in all municipalities to the vibrant “Manama Nights” at the Bahrain National Theatre, visitors will be immersed in joyous celebrations and cultural showcases.
Additional highlights of “Ramadan in Bahrain” include the “Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (Bahrain Breeders Show),” “Musagaf Evenings” in Manama Souq, “Roast Camp” at Budaiya Botanical Gardens, “Layali Chill” at Bahrain Bay, and “Ramadan Nights” at District 1 featuring Geragoon and traditional performances.
With exclusive offerings, 23 luxurious hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, and Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq, will provide delightful iftar and suhoor experiences, tailored to the discerning tastes of visitors.
