To commemorate this coming Mid-Autumn Festival, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur unveils a sensational selection of gifting options. Handcrafted by the talented team at Yun House, these delectable mooncakes come in limited-edition Four Seasons gift boxes designed by C. N. Liew, the acclaimed contemporary ink artist.

Celebrated according to the lunar calendar, the Mid-Autumn Festival revolves around the full moon, which is symbolic of unity and completeness — a sentiment echoes by the round shape of mooncakes. On this special occasion, family and close friends come together to feast on mooncakes and appreciate the radiant beauty of the moon.

Featuring the iconic Four Seasons logo, the mooncakes are available in a variety of flavours, ranging from the traditional to the innovative. Choose from a selection of classic Baked Mooncakes with indulgent fillings such as Red Bean Paste with Almond Flakes; Pandan with Single Egg Yolk; and Puer Tangerine with Lotus.

There are many interesting varieties of Snow Skin Mooncakes available. These delicate delights come in an array of fabulous flavours, including Bird’s Nest with Black Sesame and Almond; Chocolate Lotus Paste with Himalayan Salt and Egg Yolk Custard; and White Lotus Paste with Seaweed Black Sugar and Macadamia Nuts. The star of the line-up is the sumptuous Musang King Durian mooncake!

Eight pieces of selected mooncakes are beautifully packaged in a Four Seasons gift box, which instantly catches the eye thanks to its vibrant shade of red — the most auspicious colour in Chinese culture.

C. N. Liew, the creator of these limited edition gift boxes, is a master of contemporary ink art. The bespoke designs featured on the box come from his Beyond the Border series, which was showcased at ART SG 2023 in Singapore. Liew is the first Malaysian artist whose works have been exhibited at Art Basel, Fine Art Asia and Art Miami.

The festive mooncakes at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur are priced from MYR 42 to MYR 78 (per piece) and from MYR 336 to MYR 624 (per gift box containing 8 pieces).
