Waterways Leisure Tourism Limited has announced that its equity restructuring is now complete. Shares have been issued in a ratio of 1:10. Trading of Waterways shares will be done on an ex-split basis beginning Wednesday, August 25, 2026. The operator of Cordelia Cruises announced that the subdivision of shares has been completed after the approval for the corporate action was obtained.
The stock exchanges recognised 25 August 2026 as the Ex-Split Date, while 26 August 2026 remains the Record Date for determining shareholders eligible for the revised share allocation. The Ex-Split Date was moved ahead by one day due to the clearing holiday scheduled on the Record Date.

The share subdivision forms part of the company’s efforts to improve access to its listed equity while continuing its expansion plans in India’s organised cruise tourism sector.
As part of the approved subdivision, every fully paid-up equity share with a face value of ₹10 has been converted into 10 fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of ₹1 each.

Following the completion of the process, Waterways Leisure Tourism’s total paid-up equity share capital remains unchanged at ₹723.95 million.
However, the number of issued equity shares has increased from 7,23,94,543 shares to 72,39,45,430 shares.
The restructuring changes the number and face value of shares available in the market but does not affect the company’s overall capital base or the proportional ownership held by existing shareholders.
The company expects the lower face value structure to make its shares more accessible and encourage participation from a wider investor community.

The 1:10 subdivision has been introduced to improve the approachability of Waterways Leisure Tourism’s listed shares.
By reducing the face value from ₹10 to ₹1, the company aims to create a share structure that may allow more investors to participate in its equity market presence.
The split is focused on improving accessibility rather than changing the company’s financial position. The total value represented by shareholders’ holdings remains unchanged after the adjustment.
The move also supports the company’s objective of encouraging broader investor engagement as it continues to develop its business operations.
Waterways Leisure Tourism continues to strengthen Cordelia Cruises as its key business focus within India’s growing cruise tourism sector.
The cruise brand provides domestic and international holiday experiences, offering travellers a combination of accommodation, dining, entertainment and leisure activities during their journeys.
Cordelia Cruises’ onboard services include restaurants, entertainment options, wellness experiences, retail facilities, gaming, corporate events, weddings and group travel programmes.
The company’s cruise model focuses on delivering an all-in-one holiday experience where travellers can enjoy multiple services and activities within a single voyage.
Cordelia Cruises has hosted more than 7.8 lakh guests across its domestic and international cruise itineraries since launching operations, according to company information.
The passenger milestone reflects the brand’s growing presence in India’s cruise travel market and highlights increasing interest in organised cruise holidays.
Cruise tourism offers travellers a unique holiday format by combining transportation, accommodation, dining and entertainment into one integrated experience.
Through Cordelia Cruises, Waterways Leisure Tourism continues to serve different travel segments, including leisure passengers, corporate groups, celebrations and special occasions.
The completion of the share subdivision comes as Waterways Leisure Tourism continues its efforts to expand its cruise tourism footprint.
The corporate action provides a revised equity structure while maintaining the company’s existing paid-up capital and business fundamentals.
At the operational level, Cordelia Cruises remains the company’s primary growth platform, with continued focus on delivering cruise experiences for Indian and international travellers.
The combination of improved share accessibility and ongoing cruise expansion reflects the company’s dual focus on strengthening its market participation and growing its presence in the organised cruise tourism industry.
