Israel’s Dan Hotels collection has decided to open its doors to guests once again after being closed down for the coronavirus pandemic. The ongoing global crisis has harshly impacted the tourism industry of Israel similar to the rest of the world. However, Dan Hotels has decided to take a step towards the revival of the industry by returning to business and providing guests with luxury services after reopening.

Dan Tel Aviv, Dan Hotels’ premier property in Tel Aviv, remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Other properties like Dan Caesarea and Dan Eilat will be joining the property next week in welcoming guests. In the next few months, other hotels in the collection will resume operations after undergoing thorough disinfection and cleaning. Additional care and focus will be provided on areas of frequent contact.

The Dan Accadia in Herzliya, Ruth Safed and the Neptune Eilat is expected to reopen in mid-June. The iconic King David Hotel in Jerusalem, the Dan Carmel in Haifa, and the Dan Panorama Eilat are currently targeting to reopen by early July while the remaining of the group’s properties have planned to open by mid-August. Alongside safety measures in hotel rooms, gyms, pools, entertainment venues, the Danyland Clubs, and synagogues will be fully sanitized and prepared to meet health and safety standards.

On the other hand, breakfasts at the Dan Hotels will remain as buffets. Guests will also be shielded from the food by a transparent partition. Hotel staff serving the food will also use gloves and attractive masks. The hotels have also decided to allow certain children to be held outdoors. In addition, Dan Hotels has also developed a brand new innovative app for certain properties. “App to Dan,” application will allow guests to perform various actions during their stay without making physical contact with hotel staff.

Ronen Nissenbaum, CEO, Dan Hotels said in a recent press statement that the company has been working hard during the period of crisis to ensure that guests return to the highest level of safety and comfort once they return to the hotels. He informed that the brand has developed a detailed health protocol that covers all areas of the hotels and meets the strict guidelines set out by the Israel Ministry of Health. He also added the properties will operate with the motto “Stay Safe & Enjoy by Dan Hotels” after reopening.
