Delta & LATAM relaunch direct flights from Santiago to Orlando, running Thurs & Sun, Jun 16-Sep 28, 2024, linking South America to US summer fun.

Delta and LATAM will inaugurate a direct connection from Santiago, Chile, to Orlando, Florida, offering flights twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays. This service will be available from June 16 through September 28, 2024, coinciding with the summer months in the Northern Hemisphere. This provides a seamless travel option for those in Chile wishing to experience the warm, sunny climate of Central Florida and its variety of attractions suitable for all ages, particularly during the Southern Hemisphere’s winter months.

This initiative, marking the renewal of the route by the LATAM Group since its suspension in 2018, represents another significant development in the collaborative partnership between Delta and LATAM, which has already seen the introduction of six new direct links between South America and the United States.

The collaboration aims to transport around 12,800 passengers over the course of the North American summer. Moreover, this route will offer an easier path for Brazilian travelers to reach Orlando during the high-demand travel season.

Specifically, the flights will commence on June 16, with the Santiago to Orlando leg scheduled for 11:15 a.m. local time departures on Thursdays and Sundays, arriving at 8:15 p.m. local time. The return journey from Orlando is planned for 10:25 p.m. local time on the same days, landing in Santiago at 7:00 a.m. local time the following morning. From July, the Sunday flights will switch to Saturdays, maintaining the same schedule.
