FITUR 2024 is set to make people go gaga

The five-day International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR 2024) will be held in IFEMA – Feria de Madrid or which literally translates to “Fair Institution of Madrid”. This will be held on January 24–28, 2024. For the travel industry, the expo is regarded as one of the biggest annual trade shows.

The IFEMA MADRID is in charge of setting up fairs, congresses, and halls in its Madrid facilities. The dates of this event are set for January 24–28, 2024. The year 2024 for FITUR’s event is likely to be bigger and better. The theme for the year 2024 will be accessible and sustainable tourism. 

Promoting social, environmental, and corporate governance responsibilities in the tourism industry is something for which the fair is a global reference. Numerous forums, such as Technology and Business, Technology and the Future, Technology and Destination, and Technology and Sustainability, will be encompassed. 

An approximate 100,000 people are expected to attend the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) in 2024 over the course of the weekend. One of the biggest trade shows for the Spanish and Latin American hospitality industries is called FITUR. It is well-known for its conferences, seminars, awards, and congresses and serves as a global hub for tourism experts.

Spain and the UK have a long history together, which has increased travel between the two over time. Spain was the destination of choice for almost 15 million British travellers in 2022, up 251.3% from the year before, despite recent difficulties. Spain’s durability and ongoing appeal to the British travel market are reflected in this constant stream of visitors.

Along with serving as a showroom for industry advancements and trends, the trade show also helps to forge business partnerships and strategic alliances that bolster Spain’s ties to this massive travel market.

At IFEMA, Ecuador made a compelling case for itself as a “FITUR 2024 Partner Country.” With about 75,000 tourists annually expected by 2023, the relationship between Ecuador and Spain is still strong. According to Niels Olsen, Ecuador’s Minister of Tourism, FITUR 2024 will offer a golden opportunity to show the world all the wonders that Ecuador has to offer.
