Four Seasons Kuwait spreads joy for KACCH & BACCH with kindness

On November 13 each year, the global celebration of World Kindness Day resonates. Yet, the team at Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya chose to extend the spirit of love further. Following the triumph of their prior collaboration with Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital & Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (KACCH & BACCH) in October, the compassionate hotel organized a special event titled “Wonderland Tea Time” at Elements restaurant on November 25, 2023. This event aimed to bring joy to the children and families associated with the hospice.

Between 3:00 and 5:00 pm, resilient young ones and their families gathered in Elements, a vibrant market-style setting adorned with lively balloon decorations sponsored by Alissar. The menu was tailored with an assortment of savory and sweet treats, ranging from mini quiches, bao bun sliders, and toasted sandwiches to delightful brownies and cakes—perfect bite-sized indulgences for the children.

An ice cream cart offered wonderland-inspired flavors, while a chocolate fountain and cupcake decorating activity added interactive elements, ensuring a playful experience for the courageous guests. The event also featured various joyous activities such as balloon sculpture, air hockey, Play-Doh sculpting, football, and coloring, complemented by appearances from beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Princess Elsa, and Barney—all contributing to lifting spirits and creating a magical atmosphere.

The Wonderland Tea Time seamlessly followed the success of the Hotel’s heartwarming “Hats On” event held on October 13, 2023. During this event, attendees adorned various headwear in support of children with life-limiting conditions requiring palliative care. The Four Seasons For Good team had previously visited Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice to set up a delightful food stand and organize engaging activities like face painting and games.
