Minor Hotels Boosts London Luxury Tourism As WestDill Mayfair Hotel Names New General Manager

Minor Hotels has appointed Marco Ercolano as the Pre-Opening General Manager of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection. As part of Minor Hotels’ strategy to open the Colbert Collection brand in the UK and to debut its second hotel under this brand, Ercolano will oversee the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London.

Bringing almost 20 years of experience in London’s luxury hospitality sector, Ercolano offers extensive expertise in hotel operations, pre-opening projects and commercial leadership. His career has included senior positions at several renowned properties, including St. Ermin’s Hotel, Autograph Collection, The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton, Canopy by Hilton London City, The Ritz London and Bulgari Hotel London.

With a strong background in hotel operations and food and beverage management, Ercolano will oversee the property’s operational planning, commercial direction and opening strategy. His role will focus on bringing the Colbert Collection’s concept of creating hotels with a soul to life at the new Mayfair destination.

The appointment comes as Minor Hotels continues to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio, strengthening its presence in key global markets while preparing the London property to become an important addition to the group’s international flagship collection.

Marco has earned an Advanced Hotel Revenue Management certification from Cornell University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from University of West London, strengthening his expertise in luxury hotel operations and revenue strategy.
