Air Canada Partners with ARC Traverse to Transform Corporate Travel Bookings Across Canada Through Embarq

Air Canada is revolutionizing corporate travel in Canada through a new partnership with ARC Traverse which will make it easier for businesses to book direct flights. A cutting-edge technology is set to underpin Air Canada Embarq, a self-service solution for small, medium-sized enterprises and non-profit organisations. The initiative will make corporate flight bookings simpler and allow firms to track business travel expenses, access benefits and manage employee trips more effectively.
The partnership is designed to improve how businesses manage employee travel by combining the flexibility of direct airline bookings with enhanced spending visibility and corporate travel management capabilities. Through Air Canada Embarq, participating organisations can monitor travel expenses while employees benefit from a simpler booking experience. Looking ahead, the platform is expected to introduce additional features, including corporate payment options and the ability to apply company travel policies directly to Air Canada bookings. Traverse also supports both managed and unmanaged corporate travel arrangements, allowing organisations to maintain a clearer overview of business travel activities regardless of how employees arrange their journeys. This approach is expected to help Canadian businesses simplify travel administration, strengthen financial oversight and create a more efficient corporate travel experience.
“Direct booking can be an important part of an omnichannel travel program, without sacrificing the visibility and controls businesses need,” said Chuck Fischer, Chief Airline Retailing Officer at ARC. “Traverse gives Air Canada the flexibility to connect the direct booking experience with the insights corporate travel programs rely on.”
“At Air Canada, we’re focused on making business travel more efficient and rewarding for our customers,” said Francois Choquette, Head of Global Sales at Air Canada. “We value the Traverse team’s partnership in helping us deliver a more flexible experience for business travelers and their companies.”
