Fáilte Ireland, in collaboration with Tourism Ireland, is set to participate in the prominent IBTM World event taking place in Barcelona from November 28-30. IBTM World stands as one of Europe’s largest trade shows catering to the global meetings, conference, and events travel industry. The event will host 36 leading business event suppliers, encompassing hotels, venues, and destination management companies, providing a platform for interactions with 15,000 industry professionals over the course of three days. The event facilitates a range of engagements, including one-to-one appointments, workshops, group presentations, and educational opportunities.
Fáilte Ireland has already confirmed 360 international business events with a cumulative value of €160 million for future years. In collaboration with Tourism Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority aims to bolster these numbers further while actively participating in IBTM World in Barcelona.
With 1,146 appointments already scheduled with various agencies and suppliers, the stage is set for impactful discussions. Visitors to the Ireland stand will have the opportunity to experience Irish food tastings, courtesy of Chef Andrew Rudd, while also gaining insights into why Ireland is an ideal choice for upcoming business events. This strategic approach aims to distinguish Ireland among the 100 countries represented at the event.
