Indonesia is back to Woo Indian tourists again

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia is coming back to welcome India with the help of their participation in Outbound Travel Mart which will kick-start on 8th and will continue till 10th February, 2024, at Mumbai in Jio World Convention Centre. The pavilion, at Hall 2 Booth K100, has the superb Prambanan temple, Borobudur temple, and traditional Javanese decorations as well. 

Adding a new edge to the pavilions is the “Keep the Wonder” theme as the consistency of Indonesia to encourage the wonders of 5 Super Priority Destinations. The pavilion will represent 25 individual companies of Indonesia travel and hospitality sector comprising tour operators, travel agents, DMC, restaurants, hotels and tourist attractions. Marriott Indonesia and Atlas Beach Club will partake along with official partners of the “Wonderful Indonesia” pavilion.

For Indonesia, India is one of the potential markets. In 2023, the number of Indian travellers going to Indonesia reached almost 606.439 with a growth of 125.8% from the year before. In 2023, India ranked 6th as the highest number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia and 2nd in Bali. In Indonesia, promoting green tourism in 2024 will be one of the programs majorly highlighted.
