Wyndham & Groups360 revolutionize group bookings, making it quick & easy with over 5,600 hotels on GroupSyncTM, streamlining travel for various sectors.

In a significant advancement for the hospitality industry, the collaboration between Groups360 and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is set to transform the group booking process. With over 5,600 Wyndham properties joining the GroupSyncTM Marketplace, organizing group stays for economy and midscale accommodations will transition from a days-long ordeal to a matter of minutes.

This innovation is not only a boon for those organizing meetings, weddings, and other events but also serves as a critical resource for travel managers in sectors such as construction and logistics. For these professionals, coordinating accommodations for teams who may need to be on-site for extended periods, sometimes with minimal notice, is a frequent challenge.

GroupSync streamlines this process by offering travel coordinators the ability to check current rates and room availability at involved hotels, allowing for the direct reservation of between 10 to 50 rooms without the need for hotel contact or the cumbersome traditional RFP process. Additionally, event space can be booked at these hotels when necessary and available, further easing planning efforts.

Wyndham’s partnership with Groups360 is a part of a broader initiative to leverage a burgeoning travel surge linked to infrastructure projects, a market the company sees as presenting a potential revenue opportunity of approximately $3.3 billion for its franchisees. To capitalize on this, Wyndham has recently increased its Global Sales team by 25% and introduced new tools aimed at helping franchisees identify and seize infrastructure-related travel opportunities.

Moreover, this partnership aligns with Wyndham’s Wyndham Business program, which seeks to simplify business travel through a comprehensive set of tools and benefits. The program is designed to support a wide range of business travel professionals, from small and mid-sized business owners to travel advisors and meeting planners, offering them discounted rates and special perks.

The rollout for instant booking via GroupSync is expected to include the majority of Wyndham’s U.S. hotels this week, with plans to have all properties available by the end of the month.
