For G20 summit, the international delegates who reached Kumarakom in Kerala can’t stop commending the scope of tourism in terms of the picturesque backwaters. Under the direction of Indian representative Amitabh Kant, the Sherpa meeting was arranged in KTDC waterscapes. Over120 members from various countries took part in the meeting.
Visiting the backwaters, taking part in dance, martial arts forms, and other programs that are unique to Kerala culture instilled astonishment in several delegates. Onam was recreated on the last day of the summit. This was done to make the visitors understand as well as experience the varied and unique festival formats of India.
Muhammed Riyas, the Minister, explained that the best facilities provided close to the Vembanad Lake was successful with delegates from abroad.
