Life House introduces Life Hospitality to support hoteliers amid COVID-19 pandemic

The tech-enabled hotel brand and management company Life House, recently announced the launch of Life Hospitality, a management company focused on maximising hotel profitability for independent hotels. The company is being introduced with the aim of providing tech-powered cost reductions and revenue enhancements without the requirement of renovation or rebranding. The initiative comes in light of the coronavirus pandemic, in order to support owners in need of help. The company is offering no transition fees and no management fees until 2021.

Life House was founded by luxury boutique hotel veterans in 2017. It has rebuilt the complex hotel technology stack by creating a completely new operational model that allows for a robust, lean operation to hotel owners and great hospitality service to travelers. The announcement of the latest initiative arrived a few months after the company closed a $30M Series B financing round.

Rami Zeidan, Founder & CEO, Life House said in a statement that the coronavirus outbreak has disclosed the underlying operational challenges of the hotel industry that was masked by strong hotel revenue growth over the last several years. He mentioned that there are numerous independent hotel owners who have created great independent hotel concepts but failed to manage the increasingly complicated business involved in operations.

Bryan Dunn, Head of Growth, Life House further that added that the company saw an opportunity when hotel owners asked for help without the capital to renovate into a Life House. He said that the company then decided to offer the same great service to the broader independent hotel community similar to the services for Life House branded hotels.

The newly launched Life Hospitality will leverage a proprietary technology stack that would enable its teams to efficiently drive incremental revenue. It would also provide risk-free cost savings to the bottom line and support owners amid the much decreasing demand situation after the pandemic. The company has fully automated and centralised functions like financial accounting and reporting, pricing, and revenue management, as well as digital marketing.

It would also allow advanced operations in minimised costs without hampering the guest experience. Life Hospitality is also enabled to take over existing hotels within just one week due to its clean technology infrastructure. It is capable of training staff on its intuitive software in a single day which also helps to materially decrease transition costs and pre-opening costs for owners.
