The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) Department of Tourism and the Division of Festivals have released the dates for the 2026 – 2027 St. Croix Crucian Christmas Festival. Residents and visitors can now plan to attend one of the Virgin Islands’ premier events. The festival will occur from December 26, 2026 to January 2, 2027, with the Island’s music, food, pageants, and Carnival festivities. The festival will unite Crucians, Virgin Islanders, and all guests to the Island to celebrate a wide range of traditions and activities.

The celebration will begin in early December with a series of cultural competitions and community activities ahead of the opening of Festival Village and the much-awaited signature parades. Pre-festival highlights, including the Prince & Princess Pageant and the Calypso Monarch Competition, will spotlight local creativity, musical talent and the rich heritage that defines the Crucian identity. The annual event continues to serve as a major platform for preserving traditions while offering visitors an authentic glimpse into St. Croix’s culture, history and festive spirit.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to experience our Crucian Christmas Festival, from residents and returning festivalgoers to first-time visitors,” said Jennifer Matarangas-King, U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism. “It’s a magical time when our community comes together and offers visitors an authentic way to experience the spirit and culture of St. Croix.”

The Festival Village will become the centre of the celebration, hosting free nightly entertainment featuring leading local, regional and international performers from December 26 through January 2. Beyond the evening events, visitors can enjoy the island’s festive charm throughout the day by discovering St. Croix’s stunning beaches, historic communities, diverse food culture and deep-rooted traditions.
