Mexican airline Interjet recently stated that they will soon increase the number of routes and increase frequency of domestic flights in September. They also have plans to boost travel options in northern states and other popular tourist spots in the country. When the world is suffering from a very low number of flight movements, Interjet is coming up with survival strategies to continue business through increasing domestic flights movement.

One of the top airlines in Mexico, Interjet that commutes in over 50 routes, has concentrated on applying health and safety measures to ensure passenger safety. They have also decided to offer rapid COVID-19 tests and N95 masks to adhere to pandemic health regulations.

In July 2020, Interjet received a $150 million capital injection to help it through a major restructuring in a bid to offset the crisis in the airline sector as the coronavirus pandemic choked global travel.

Coronavirus pandemic has put the world tourism and travel sector on a pause. This hold is yet temporary but recovery from the situation in recent times seems impossible. Now, organisations are focussing on following measures to ensure safety and security from the virus infection. Airlines are taking strict measures to help people through travel safety and reduce scopes of virus infection spread.
