The Intercontinental Muscat is excited to announce the grand reopening of its renowned restaurant, MUSANDAM, following a comprehensive rebranding and renovation endeavor. Inspired by the stunning landscapes of the Musandam Governorate, renowned for its turquoise seas and sandy shores, the newly reimagined MUSANDAM guarantees an unparalleled dining adventure.
Under the visionary direction of French Designer, Mr. Christian Lepretre, MUSANDAM has undergone an extraordinary metamorphosis that honors the breathtaking panoramas and cultural richness of the Musandam region. The design process spanned 8 months, with the project itself completed in a remarkable 6 months, showcasing exceptional efficiency and dedication. Led by an Omani SME Company, the implementation reflects a commitment to national prosperity, aligning with the nation’s ethos of fostering value-driven projects and local contributions.
Remaining steadfast in its dedication to sustainability and energy efficiency, MUSANDAM ensures all kitchen equipment adheres to Energy Star standards. Furthermore, VOC-free paint materials have been employed in accordance with the IHG Journey to Tomorrow initiative. The restaurant features state-of-the-art dimmer controls and LED lighting solutions, not only enriching its ambiance but also championing energy conservation. Additionally, Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) systems guarantee optimal air quality and environmental stewardship.
Art aficionados will revel in the meticulous attention to detail, as all artworks and paintings adorning the restaurant walls are crafted by talented Omani artists. Furthermore, the buffet’s stone cladding showcases handcrafted stones sourced from the majestic Bahla mountain, imbuing the dining experience with local craftsmanship and authenticity.
