MyTourist Pass Empowers Travelers With Unlimited Access Across Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur

Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, through Rapid KL, has introduced the MyTourist pass, a convenient solution tailored to enhance public transportation access for both domestic and international travelers visiting the federal capital.

This launch aligns with preparations for Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and Malaysia’s role as host for the ASEAN Summit in 2025, as highlighted by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

This initiative represents a strategic move to bolster tourism, a key sector driving national revenue growth.

The event was also attended by Transport Minister Anthony Loke, Prasarana Group Chairman Tan Sri Jamaludin Ibrahim, and Prasarana Group President and CEO Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah.

The MyTourist pass provides unlimited access to Rapid KL’s rail and bus networks, enabling both local and international tourists to easily explore iconic attractions across Kuala Lumpur, including Muzium Negara, Bukit Bintang, Dataran Merdeka, and other key cultural and commercial hubs.

Alongside unlimited travel, the pass offers enticing benefits such as discounts at well-loved tourist sites, restaurants, shopping centers, and select theme parks like Petrosains, the Petronas Twin Towers, Sunway Lagoon, and Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Speaking to reporters after the launch, Transport Minister Anthony Loke shared that Malaysian citizens can purchase the MyTourist pass for RM20 for one day, RM30 for two days, and RM40 for three days, while international tourists will pay double these rates.

Loke highlighted that this initiative aims to further promote the use of public transport among travelers exploring the city’s attractions.
