Air Astana is helping Kazakhstan’s tourism goals for 2027 with a new partnership between Air Astana and Kazakh Tourism. The new agreement was signed by representatives of five regions of Kazakhstan and is aimed at attracting more international tourists and improving domestic air transportation within Kazakhstan. The agreement should improve air connectivity and help implement Kazakhstan’s international marketing and promotion strategies.

The agreement brings together Air Astana, Kazakh Tourism, the Akimats of Astana and Almaty, along with the Almaty, Akmola and Mangistau regions. Through this partnership, the organisations will pool their marketing, communication and operational resources to launch joint initiatives aimed at promoting Kazakhstan as an attractive international tourism destination.

The collaboration will focus on a range of activities, including digital marketing campaigns, participation in major global tourism exhibitions and roadshows, familiarisation tours for international travel partners and media representatives, B2B networking events, and research to identify and target key priority markets.

“Developing inbound tourism requires a coordinated effort. By bringing together the resources and expertise of the national tourism board, the airline and the regions, we can raise Kazakhstan’s profile in key international markets. This cooperation will help attract more international visitors and support the development of tourism-related businesses and services across the country,” said Talgat Gazizov, Chairman of the Kazakh Tourism.

By working closely with Kazakh Tourism and the regions, we can achieve strong synergies in our international marketing activities, promote Kazakhstan and Air Astana’s network more effectively, and deliver a global standard of service throughout the customer journey of our guests.”
