The venue will feature a carefully designed mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a luxury environment centred around food, music, relaxation and waterfront experiences.

Outside, the Bagatelle Beach Club will offer a stylish waterfront terrace and deck overlooking the crystal-clear waters of St George’s Bay. Guests will be able to enjoy premium sunbeds, a poolside atmosphere and all-day relaxation while taking in views of the Mediterranean coastline. A dedicated bar and lounge area will further enhance the venue’s entertainment appeal, positioning Bagatelle Malta as a new hotspot for luxury lifestyle experiences on the island.
The architectural and interior concept reflects the meeting point between French sophistication and Malta’s island character. The design combines shades of deep blue and warm orange with brass details, wooden finishes, woven textures and carefully selected materials to create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The indoor-outdoor layout has been developed to maximise sea views and provide a natural connection with the surrounding coastal landscape.
At the centre of the experience will be Bagatelle’s signature Riviera-inspired culinary concept. The menu has been developed under the creative direction of Corporate Chefs Rocco Seminara and Manon Santini, with Malta’s Executive Chef Walter D’Ambrosio bringing the concept to life using local ingredients and seasonal Mediterranean flavours.
The dining experience will focus on fresh produce, refined presentation and sharing-style dishes inspired by the traditions of the French Riviera and Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can expect a selection of carefully crafted seafood creations, elegant appetisers, seasonal specialities and signature dishes designed for social dining.

The menu will also feature Bagatelle’s popular tuna tartare prepared with avocado, Espelette pepper and a vibrant vinaigrette, offering a balance of freshness, texture and Mediterranean character.
For guests seeking more indulgent flavours, the restaurant will serve signature dishes including whole organic free-range chicken with tarragon, prepared in an aromatic salt crust, as well as locally sourced fish delicately cooked inside lemon tree leaves to preserve its natural flavours.
Dessert selections will continue Bagatelle’s tradition of combining creativity with luxury. Signature creations will include the Bagatelle World, featuring light vanilla mousse, smooth caramel and cashew nut crunch, along with the Jivara chocolate pizzetta topped with caramelised Piedmont hazelnuts.
Alongside its culinary offering, Bagatelle Malta will introduce a specially designed beverage programme created exclusively for the island venue. The cocktail and drinks selection will reflect the brand’s global identity by combining contemporary creativity with a refined sense of celebration.
The opening of Bagatelle Malta is expected to strengthen St George’s Bay’s position as one of Malta’s leading lifestyle and entertainment destinations. By combining premium gastronomy, beachfront relaxation and world-class hospitality, the new venue aims to create a distinctive Mediterranean experience for both local residents and international visitors.
The arrival of Bagatelle adds another major luxury concept to Malta’s evolving tourism and hospitality market, reinforcing the island’s reputation as a destination where heritage, coastal beauty and modern lifestyle experiences come together.
Robert DeBono, Director and CEO of Lifestyle Group says on the opening of Bagatella Malta “The decision for Bagatelle to open in Malta is a significant milestone for the island’s hospitality industry and a strong reflection of Malta’s growing international appeal.
