COVID-19 has impacted almost every individual in this world, generally overshadowing the earlier two-plus years of our lives.
Several of our decisions and actions in the last 26 months have been governed by the changeable character of the virus, and the worries surrounding it have conquered our thoughts for a long time.
However, now, the widespread COVID apprehensions appear to be fading gradually, with the increase of vaccination rates. The Omicron variant seems to have reached its culmination, and countries globally have simplified or completely dismissed their international travel limitations.
As per a recent survey, 57 percent of the respondents opined that they are “not concerned” or “not very concerned” regarding the spreading of COVID-19 anymore. This establishes the outlook that the during this time, hence, we need to treat the virus as endemic and find out how to live with it.
Hannah Free, GlobalData travel and tourism analyst said that the viewpoint for tourism in many countries is much better compared to any time in the last two years. However, the unrest and indecision of COVID-19 has posed a lot of challenges which are expected to further cause difficulties in recovery. Increasing demand, along with mass suspension and competing for ability with other sectors, has given rise to extensive labor deficiency in a lot of tourism economies like the UK, the Netherlands and Spain.
