Philippine Airlines soars with IBS Software’s iFly staff solution

Philippine Airlines (PAL) and its affiliated carrier, PAL Express (PALex), are progressing into the next stage of their journey by implementing IBS Software’s iFly Staff travel solution.

iFly Staff, a SaaS solution, is specifically crafted to enhance operational efficiency for airline employees during their travels. This solution streamlines the entire process of booking business and leisure trips for airline employees, automating various tasks. Through the collaboration with iFly Staff, PAL and PALex employees, along with their dependents and retirees, gain the convenience of planning, booking, and managing their travel needs across various channels and devices.

Notably, PAL stands as the pioneer Southeast Asian SaaS customer of IBS Software and the fourth within the Asia-Pacific region.

Since its implementation, iFly Staff has brought about significant improvements in the travel experiences of PAL employees. It has replaced labor-intensive, paper-based manual processes with a self-service booking capability, dramatically reducing the time required for staff travel bookings from days to mere minutes. The benefits extend beyond time efficiency, encompassing a decrease in general office backlogs, improved compliance with policies and security measures, and the facilitation of multiple payment options.
