The Baha Mar Tennis Cup is coming back to The Bahamas in 2026 with a star-studded sports and celebrity event that will last four days. The Baha Mar Tennis Cup, now in its seventh year, will take place from December 10 to December 13. Along with the tennis events, this year’s cup will feature player charity events, clay courts, and everything the Baha Mar Resort has to offer. Baha Mar Tennis Cup’s organizers have paired some of the best players from around the world with celebrities and entertainers to bring some tennis and entertainment to everyone attending the event. The 2026 event will continue to support youth and community focused tennis programs with the help of charitable organizations.
Hosted by tennis legend John McEnroe and Bahamian tennis star Mark Knowles, the four-day charity event will combine elite tennis action with exclusive guest experiences, professional clinics, and celebrity competitions. The event will raise funds for the Baha Mar Resort Foundation and the Mark Knowles Children’s Tennis Initiative, supporting community programmes and youth development through tennis.

Building on the success of the Celebrity Pro-Am introduced in 2025, the 2026 Tennis Cup will once again feature a unique format pairing eight celebrities with eight professional tennis players for an exciting afternoon of competition.
Guests attending the event will have the chance to participate alongside professional players in the signature Pro-Am Tournament, watch thrilling singles and doubles exhibition matches, and join tennis clinics created for players of different experience levels. The complete professional and celebrity participant lineup for the 2026 Baha Mar Tennis Cup will be revealed in the coming months. Previous editions of the event have featured a number of internationally recognised tennis stars, including Tommy Paul, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Andy Roddick, Taylor Townsend, Victoria Azarenka, James Blake, Genie Bouchard, Austin Krajicek, Sabine Lisicki, Milos Raonic and Donna Vekić, along with other leading players from the global tennis community.
Four-Day Event Programme Highlights
The 2026 Baha Mar Tennis Cup will begin on Thursday, 10 December, with guests able to select from three afternoon tennis clinics designed for different playing levels. The programme will include an open-level clinic for players rated 3.0 and above, Live Ball sessions and interactive tennis games. The opening day will conclude with a welcome reception at Rosewood Baha Mar, where guests can meet visiting professionals and other attendees while enjoying a live performance from the Johnny Smyth Band.

On Friday, 11 December, Pro-Am participants will start the day with a special warm-up clinic before joining professional tennis players on court for the signature Pro-Am Tournament. Following the competition, guests will enjoy Lunch on the Lawn before watching an exclusive professional exhibition featuring singles and doubles matches. The day will end with Taste of Baha Mar, a showcase of the resort’s diverse culinary offerings and celebrated chefs.
Saturday, 12 December, will feature a full schedule of tennis activities, including Live Ball sessions, VIP clinics and a Celebrity Live Ball Clinic during the morning. The afternoon will highlight the Celebrity Pro-Am, where eight celebrities will partner with eight professional tennis players for an exciting competitive showcase. The evening programme will continue with a live performance from the Johnny Smyth Band at Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club, followed by the Baha Mar Foundation Dinner and an exclusive after-party gathering.
The final day, Sunday, 13 December, will close the tournament weekend with a Live Ball clinic for VIP spectator participants and the annual complimentary Kids Clinic. The youth-focused programme will provide local children with the opportunity to learn tennis skills, receive coaching and gain inspiration from visiting professional players.

The 2025 Baha Mar Tennis Cup generated more than $300,000 in fundraising support for youth tennis programmes and community initiatives throughout The Bahamas. The funding has helped train primary school teachers to introduce tennis activities in classrooms and expand junior tennis opportunities, allowing more young Bahamians to participate in the sport.
Located within Baha Mar, the John McEnroe Tennis Center has become one of the Caribbean’s leading tennis destinations. The facility features six professional hard courts, two Har-Tru clay courts, six pickleball courts, two padel courts and a fully equipped pro shop. Throughout the year, the centre provides private lessons, group clinics, training sessions, court rentals and tennis programmes for players of all ages and skill levels.
