Saudi Arabia and Bahrain signs MoU

Of late, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have signed a memorandum of understanding. This agreement is all set to place both the countries as a remarkable regional and global tourism destination to everyone.


This landmark contract not only is a milestone in terms of their bilateral dealings but creates the phase for a huge rise of their individual tourism industries, reported Bahrain News Agency.


This agreement was signed by Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, who is the Bahrain tourism minister, and Ahmed Al Khateeb,who is the minister of tourism, Saudi Arabia.


It was done in the gracious presence of the Dr. Nasser Qaedi, who is the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and President, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. There were other representatives as well from both the ministries of kingdoms. At the Manama National Museum, Bahrain, the official ceremony was organized.


This grand partnership is all set to fortify the associations between the two kingdoms and mirrors their genuine and strong-minded initiations to improve collaboration in tourism, the report said.


The memorandum comprises numerous provisions. These provisions make the scope of tourism cooperation bigger between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, developing better partnership in different quarters of mutual interest.


The MoU sets up a structure for uniting the initiations to advertise and encourage activities and programs related to tourism in both the kingdoms.
