SKY express with the help of Hermes Airports fulfilled its commitment

Keeping in mind a special ceremony organized at Larnaca International Airport, in the presence of Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus, SKY express with the help of Hermes Airports, lived up to its commitment to present A321neo, its first AIRBUS type aircraft, with the name KIPROS. The Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus, Mr. Ioannis Papameletiou, along with the Transport Minister, Mr. Alexis Vafiadis, the Deputy Tourism Minister, Mr. Costas Koumis, Hermes Airport representatives, Cypriot travel agencies representatives, SKY express’s partners, and media representatives from Cyprus and Greece took part in the naming event.

As a representative of Hermes Airports, the President was greeted by Mrs. Eleni Kaloyirou, the Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Iacovos Iacovou, the Vice Chairman of Hermes Airports BoD.

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, at the time of his speech, mentioned the dynamic growth and expansion of SKY express in recent years and appreciated its offerings, by emphasizing that it gives considerably to the initiations of Cyprus and is a vote of confidence for the country.

Mrs. Eleni Kaloyirou, the CEO Hermes Airports, said that the CYPRUS aircraft respects their country and their airport as it will be an ambassador of Cyprus all through Europe.
