Stakeholders join forces to improve tourism

Recently, Fiji Airways has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement will widen the discounts to help the members of Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association.

The FHTA members, as per the contract, will get discounts while taking part in foreign tourism road and trade shows.


Equally, Fiji Airways will bring media and trade partners to encourage Fiji, strengthening its top tourism positions in the country.


Andre Viljoen, Airline Chief Executive, highlights the fact that the MOU identifies the essential responsibility of tourism in the economic prosperity of Fiji.


Viljoen asserts that they’re thrilled to work together with FHTA which is set to make long-lasting industry benefits and wider Fijian community. Viljoen says that through this joint venture, they will make powerful
connections, perk up sustainable growth, and display the unique attractions of Fiji to the world.


Fantasha Lockington, FHTA Chief Executive, says that they are keen to developing inventive strategies and efforts that will be advantageous to tourism.


The MOU outlines the powerful connection between FHTA and Fiji Airways. It allows both parties to recognize and grab hold of opportunities to expand their tourism market positively.
