In the coming days, several events will take place on the territory of the Slovak Republic, at which, according to preliminary information, massive participation of not only Slovak but also foreign visitors is expected.

The Greek goddess, painted in the 15th century, can now be seen travelling across Italy and posting selfies on social media of herself eating pizza, taking in the Roman and Venetian sights, or cycling on the Costa dei Trabocchi.

The number of Middle Eastern tourists travelling to Thailand tallied 314,882 last year, with nearly 100,000 visitors from Saudi Arabia and around 66,000 visitors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Indonesia has received 2.25 million visitors in the first quarter, compared to 5.5 million arrivals for the whole of 2022. It is targeting more than 7 million visitors this year.

Arrivals were still down 34% from March 2019, before pandemic travel curbs that were instituted from the following year.

Istanbul, the largest city in Türkiye by population, was the most popular destination for foreign visitors, attracting 1.08 million tourists.

Vietnam expects to handle 110 million tourists in 2023, with an estimated 8 million coming from foreign arrivals.
