The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) Empowers 39 Students With Advanced Food Safety Training in Navi Mumbai

The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) recently conducted FSSAI’s Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) and Management Training Program on November 11 at the DY Patil Deemed University School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies in Navi Mumbai. A group of 39 students attended the program, which focused on vital topics such as food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and waste management. This training equipped participants with practical, hands-on skills to apply robust food safety measures in their daily work, bolstering quality standards within the industry.

The training session was inaugurated by Dr. Pasupathy V., Trainer; Ms. Aarti Pandirkar, Vice Principal; Ms. Padmaja Binakar, Assistant Professor of Catering Science at DY Patil Deemed University School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies; and Ms. Manasi Parab, Administrative Assistant, Training & Seminar at HRAWI.

To date, HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 3,208 hospitality professionals and students through the FoSTaC and Management Training Program. This milestone underscores HRAWI’s dedication to enhancing food safety standards across the hospitality industry, ensuring that certified professionals adhere to stringent safety protocols in their operations.
