Tourism business invited to partake in Scottish travel trade event

On April 19th and April 20th, the first ever VisitScotland Connect travel trade workshop is expected to take place at P&J Live in Aberdeen. It would attract to Scotland representatives from almost 23 countries like, Canada, the USA, Europe, China and Asia Pacific for the first in-person, industry-wide, travel trade event of national tourism organization for four years.

Almost 180 trade-ready businesses of Scotland and destination management organizations have by now got registered to take part in it however, additional spaces have been presented and trade-ready businesses can still apply to take part via the VisitScotland Connect online website.

Malcolm Roughead, the VisitScotland Chief Executive, said that the pandemic related disputes have given them the chance to rethink of the ways they deliver events. For businesses, they are committed to making it as easy as possible for them to do business in the present financial climate and have planned VisitScotland Connect with direct input from industry.
