Disneyland Resort in California is kicking off the holiday season by opening its celebration gate and welcoming guests to the holiday whimsy from November 13, 2026 to January 6, 2027. Guests can enjoy decorations, performances, and of course, food and shopping with new offerings throughout the Resort and Parks. Holiday traditions and offerings will be available at all three parks and the Resort hotels.

Disneyland Park Creates A Magical Holiday World With New Festive Experiences

The holiday season at Disneyland Park will begin with a grand transformation as the destination introduces new seasonal details alongside returning favourites. Visitors will experience a colourful atmosphere filled with sparkling decorations, festive music and holiday-themed experiences designed to capture the excitement of winter celebrations.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their Disney friends will appear in newly designed holiday outfits inspired by winter travel and alpine celebrations. The new festive looks will add an extra layer of seasonal charm throughout the park, allowing guests to enjoy memorable character encounters surrounded by holiday décor.

A new Santa Claus experience will also join the seasonal celebrations. From 13 November until 24 December 2026, guests will be able to meet Santa at Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin at Disneyland Park. Santa will also continue appearing at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park, giving families more opportunities to share their holiday wishes and capture festive memories.

The “it’s a small world” Holiday attraction will also welcome guests with festive decorations, seasonal music and a global celebration of winter traditions.

At Disney California Adventure Park, Cars Land will join the holiday celebrations with themed attractions including Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl. These seasonal versions of popular attractions will bring Christmas-inspired fun to the world of Radiator Springs.

The celebration will feature lively entertainment including the Holiday Toy Drummers and Mickey’s Happy Holidays cavalcade, bringing music and festive energy throughout the park.
