Turkish Airlines Announces Seamless Travel to Benghazi with Promotional Fares

Turkish Airlines, the global leader in connecting African destinations, now serves 64 locations across the continent. Beginning January 14, 2025, the airline will resume flights to Benghazi, enhancing its extensive network.

The Benghazi route will utilize B737-78D aircraft, with three weekly departures scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Commenting on the relaunch of the Benghazi flights, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi said: “As Turkish Airlines, we are continuing our mission of connecting continents, this time in Benghazi, Libya’s second-largest city. We are delighted to resume flights to Benghazi, where we share historical ties. We foresee that the strong investments in the region will further boost the continent’s tourism and trade potential. In line with evolving market conditions and increasing demand, we will continue to diversify the gateways that connect Africa to the rest of the world.”

Travelers flying with Turkish Airlines can take advantage of special fares on the Istanbul to Benghazi route, with tickets priced at USD 349, and the Benghazi to Istanbul route at USD 249. These promotional prices apply to tickets purchased by February 15, 2025, for travel completed by March 20, 2025.
