Waterloo to Vegas now a flight away with Flair Airlines

This evening marks the debut of Flair Airlines‘ direct service from the Region of Waterloo International Airport to Las Vegas, Nevada, signaling a pivotal moment in the airport’s evolution and a boon for local travelers. The Region of Waterloo International Airport, recognized as Canada’s most rapidly expanding airport, has seen a surge in passenger numbers since Flair’s arrival in 2021. The increased footfall has led to the airport doubling its terminal size to cater to the growing influx. By the end of 2023, over 440,000 passengers are expected to pass through the airport.

Karen Redman, Chair of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, highlighted the increasing demand for cost-effective flights from Flair Airlines at the airport, praising the introduction of new destinations like Las Vegas and the resultant economic and cultural gains for the community.

Since initiating service in 2021, Flair has expanded to eight direct routes from Canada, including the latest from Waterloo Region, enhancing connectivity for one of its most significant international markets.
