Virgin Voyages no longer require COVID-19 test before onboarding

Virgin Voyages removes pre-embarkation tests for the passengers. Virgin Voyages has responded immediately to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) decision to discontinue their voluntary COVID-19 Program for cruise ships.

The decision will mirror the rest of the travel industry in removing the COVID-19 test. The decision will be imposed from 24 June for the European travels and from 27 June for the United States travels.

However, the Scarlet Lady will require the vaccine certificate which operates out from the US and Valiant Lady in the European Union. The company stated that they are currently evaluating the decision and they will further announce the final outcome of the decision. However, the company has stated that they will take all measures to ensure that passengers are travelling in safety.

From the date mentioned above the passengers are not required to complete a pre-embarkation test to get on the vessel. The idea will be effective for both EU and Us operations.

This opens up the possibility for the passengers who are not vaccinated to contact Virgin Voyages. They can book a sail in Virgin Voyages Sailor Service now even if they are not vaccinated. However, the ship crew has to be fully vaccinated in order to provide complete service.

Virgin Voyage has been established on 2014. It is a cruise line headquartered in Plantation, Florida. The company is actually a joint venture of Virgin Group and Bain Capital. The virgin Voyage has two ships in the fleet. Both of them have the capacity to carry 2700 passengers.
