Monaco Luxury Hotels reached historic performance levels in June 2026 as demand generated by the Formula 1 Grand Prix drove unprecedented growth across the hospitality market. Hotels throughout the principality recorded record occupancy, average daily rates and revenue per available room, reflecting the powerful influence of international sporting events on luxury travel. The exceptional June results further strengthened Monaco’s reputation as a premier global destination where high-end tourism and world-class events continue to deliver outstanding hotel performance.

According to preliminary hotel performance figures, Monaco achieved its highest monthly average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) in history during June 2026. The results reflected strong demand from international travellers and the continued influence of globally recognised events on the destination’s accommodation sector.

Hotel occupancy reached 81.4% during June 2026, increasing by 9.6% compared with the same month in 2025. Despite the already strong occupancy levels, hotels recorded substantial growth in room pricing, with ADR rising 85.6% year on year to EUR 1,267.48.

The increase in room rates contributed to a dramatic improvement in hotel revenues. RevPAR climbed 103.4% to EUR 1,031.52, making June 2026 the first month in Monaco’s history to record monthly RevPAR above EUR 1,000.

The performance established a new benchmark for the market, surpassing all previous monthly records for both room rates and revenue generation.

Historic Month for Monaco Hospitality

June 2026 represented only the second time Monaco’s monthly ADR crossed the EUR 1,000 threshold. The previous record was achieved in May 2025, when ADR reached EUR 1,032.09.

The month also delivered Monaco’s strongest June occupancy performance since 2013, highlighting the continued appeal of the destination among international leisure and business travellers.

The combination of strong demand, premium accommodation options and Monaco’s reputation as a luxury destination created favourable conditions for hotels to achieve record financial results.

The principality’s hospitality market has long benefited from major events that attract high-spending visitors, and the latest figures demonstrate the significant role these occasions play in driving hotel performance.

Formula 1 Weekend Creates Unprecedented Demand

The Formula 1 Grand Prix was the main catalyst behind Monaco’s extraordinary hotel performance in June 2026. The event attracted visitors from around the world, resulting in extremely high demand for accommodation during the race period.

The strongest daily results were recorded over the Grand Prix weekend, when hotel availability reached its highest pressure point.

On Saturday, 6 June, occupancy surged to 98.9%, approaching full capacity across Monaco’s hotel market. On the same night, ADR reached EUR 3,944.81, while RevPAR climbed to EUR 3,903.20.

The following day delivered an even greater milestone. On Sunday, 7 June, ADR reached EUR 4,082.30, becoming the first day in Monaco’s hotel history where average room rates exceeded EUR 4,000.

RevPAR also reached a record level of EUR 3,933.25, confirming the exceptional revenue potential generated during one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.

New Records Surpass Previous Grand Prix Results

The latest figures exceeded the performance achieved during the previous Formula 1 Grand Prix period in 2025.

During the 2025 race, hotel occupancy reached 97.3% on Saturday, 24 May, while ADR peaked at EUR 3,545.65 and RevPAR reached EUR 3,356.01 on Sunday, 25 May.

The June 2026 results moved beyond those previous highs, with higher daily room rates and stronger revenue performance recorded across the market.

The improvement reflects increasing demand for Monaco’s luxury travel experiences and the ability of major international events to generate significant value for the hospitality industry.

Luxury Tourism Drives Continued Hotel Growth

Monaco’s record-breaking June performance highlights the strength of luxury tourism and the importance of event-driven travel in supporting the destination’s economy.

The Formula 1 Grand Prix continues to serve as a major attraction for international visitors, creating demand not only for hotels but also for restaurants, retail outlets and other tourism businesses across the principality.

Beyond major events, Monaco continues to benefit from its global reputation for exclusivity, premium experiences and high-quality hospitality services. The destination’s appeal among affluent travellers supports strong demand for luxury accommodation throughout the year.

The June 2026 results represent a landmark moment for Monaco’s hotel industry, with record occupancy levels, historic room rates and unprecedented revenue performance demonstrating the strength and resilience of the luxury hospitality market.
