Las Vegas has a new reason to look twice at its weekend brunch plans. Haunted Brunch has moved into The Venue at Masquerade Village inside the Rio Hotel & Casino. The show arrives with a new horror story, wild live acts and close-up scares for the Halloween season.

This is not a normal meal with music in the background. It is a live horror-comedy show where the action comes close to the tables. Guests eat, laugh, watch and sometimes jump when a creepy character appears nearby. The experience mixes food, theatre, dance and surprise in one room.

Now in its fourth year in Las Vegas, Haunted Brunch is entering a larger resort setting. The move gives the established show a new home at Rio Hotel & Casino. It also puts a daytime Halloween experience inside one of the city’s well-known casino resorts.

A New Home For An Established Las Vegas Show

Haunted Brunch did not begin at the Rio. The show first appeared at Nightmare Cafe in the Las Vegas Arts District in 2023. At that time, it brought horror-style scenes, aerial acts, comedy and audience interaction to a small themed café.

The original venue later closed in 2024. But the show did not disappear. Haunted Brunch moved on and ran at The Composers Room during the 2025 Halloween season. It is now making another move, this time to The Venue at Masquerade Village inside Rio Hotel & Casino.

That history matters. The latest update is a venue move, not the launch of a brand-new Las Vegas attraction. The production has built a place in the city’s crowded entertainment market by turning brunch into a theatrical event.

For visitors, this means there is one more daytime option beyond casinos, pool parties, shopping and headline evening shows. It also gives groups a different way to begin a Halloween weekend in Las Vegas.

Horror Comes To The Table

The show uses familiar horror-film feelings rather than a simple haunted-house format. There are dancers, acrobats, comedians and scary characters. They move through the room and around the guests. Some parts take place on stage, but much of the experience happens close to the audience.

That makes Haunted Brunch different from a normal theatre show. Guests do not sit far away in dark rows. They sit at tables while performers bring the story nearer. The show uses comedy as well as scares, so it aims to create screams and laughter at the same time.

The 2026 version promises an all-new twisted tale. However, the producers have not publicly given a full plot outline or a complete cast list. That means visitors should expect a fresh seasonal production, but should not expect details that have not been confirmed.

The performance lasts about 60 minutes. It combines acrobatics, dance, dark comedy, interactive characters and live scares. Photo opportunities and bold costumes are also part of the experience.

Brunch Is Part Of The Show

Food remains a key part of Haunted Brunch. The current season promotes a three-course horror-themed brunch. The menu includes a first course called Ghoulish Goodies Basket, a main course called Tower of Terror and a dessert called Crypt’s Sweet Sacrifice.

The themed names help build the mood, but the meal is not the only reason people attend. The event is designed as a full entertainment package. Guests can choose from different ticket types, including show-only, brunch, brunch with mimosas and VIP options.

This is important for travellers planning their spending. Food and drinks are not automatically included with every ticket. Guests should check the selected package before booking.

Bottomless mimosas and themed cocktails are available for adults aged 21 and over with valid identification. The fall menu also includes vegan options. This gives the show a wider appeal for mixed groups with different food needs.

A Halloween Option For Groups

Haunted Brunch is aimed at people who want a social, high-energy activity. It is being promoted for birthdays, date nights, bachelorette and bachelor celebrations, corporate groups and friends travelling together.

Las Vegas has many night-time Halloween events. Haunted Brunch offers a daytime alternative. A group can attend a weekend performance, enjoy food and live entertainment, then continue with other plans later in the day or evening.

The show is recommended for guests aged 15 and above. The experience may include loud moments, sudden scares, theatrical horror images and performers moving close to tables. Parents should think carefully before bringing younger guests. Children and teenagers should attend with an adult.

This is not a quiet family breakfast. It is better suited to older teens, adults and people who enjoy playful horror.

Rio Adds Another Layer To Masquerade Village

The Venue at Masquerade Village has become a home for themed entertainment at the Rio. The space hosts different live productions, including comedy, music, brunch and immersive shows. Haunted Brunch fits this model because it brings food and performance together.

The move also places the show inside a resort rather than a standalone restaurant. This can make planning easier for visitors staying at the Rio or visiting from nearby hotels. The resort advertises free self-parking and valet parking at the Masquerade Parking Garage for the event.

Current performances are listed across weekends, though showtimes can change. Travellers should confirm the date, time, ticket tier and food inclusion before making plans.

What The Move Means For Las Vegas Visitors

Haunted Brunch shows how Las Vegas entertainment keeps changing. A meal can become a show. A brunch can become a Halloween activity. And a smaller local production can move through different venues before finding a resort-scale home.

The Rio move is the main news. It gives an existing Las Vegas horror brunch a fresh setting and a new story for 2026. For visitors who want something stranger than a standard buffet or a late-night club, Haunted Brunch offers an unusual choice: a meal served with acrobats, comedy, creepy characters and a few well-timed scares.
