Carnival Jubilee Expands Caribbean Cruise Options From Galveston With New Short Trips and Island Adventures

The 2028-29 Carnival Jubilee season will offer more cruises from Galveston to Mexico, the Caribbean and the Bahamas with shorter length options. Now traveling guests will have the opportunity to visit these regions for 4 or 5 day voyages. The longer 7 to 14 day cruises will also be offered. This gives guests the opportunity to be as active in their itinerary planning as they wish.

Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its future cruise programme from Galveston with a new 2028-29 season featuring more sailing choices aboard Carnival Jubilee. The upcoming schedule will introduce shorter cruise options for the first time on the Excel-class ship, while continuing to offer longer Caribbean and Bahamas voyages.

The new season will run from April 2028 to April 2029 and will feature a combination of four-, five-, six- and eight-day itineraries. The expanded programme will connect travellers with destinations across the Western Caribbean, Mexico, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

The addition of shorter cruises will give passengers greater flexibility when planning their holidays. Travellers looking for a quick Caribbean break will have new options, while those seeking longer adventures can choose extended journeys with more port visits.

Carnival Jubilee Brings New Four-Day Caribbean Getaways From Galveston

Carnival Jubilee will introduce its first regular four-day Western Caribbean cruises from Galveston during the new season. The sailings will depart on selected Thursdays between April 27, 2028, and April 26, 2029.

Each four-day voyage will include a visit to Cozumel, Mexico, offering passengers access to a popular Caribbean island destination. Known for its clear waters, beaches and cultural attractions, Cozumel remains one of the most visited cruise locations in the region.

The new shorter itinerary will provide an option for travellers who want a compact cruise experience without committing to a longer holiday. It will also expand the variety of departure choices available from Galveston.

Five-Day Sailings Add More Ways to Explore Mexico’s Caribbean Coast

The new cruise schedule will also feature five-day Western Caribbean voyages departing on selected Saturdays and Mondays from April 17, 2028, through April 30, 2029.

These itineraries will include stops at Cozumel and Progreso in Mexico’s Yucatán region. The two destinations will allow guests to experience different sides of Mexico, from Caribbean beaches to cultural and historical attractions.

The five-day cruises will create a balanced option for passengers who want more time than a short escape but prefer a shorter holiday compared with traditional week-long cruises.

Carnival Jubilee Continues With Extended Caribbean Adventures

Alongside the new shorter sailings, Carnival Jubilee will continue offering longer cruise experiences. A six-day Western Caribbean itinerary will depart on October 29, 2028, visiting Cozumel, Isla Tropicale and Roatán.

This voyage will combine Mexican and Caribbean destinations, giving passengers opportunities to explore beaches, island landscapes and regional experiences during one cruise journey.

The longer itinerary will provide travellers with additional time to enjoy multiple destinations while experiencing the onboard attractions of Carnival Jubilee.

Eight-Day Voyages Expand Bahamas and Caribbean Exploration

Carnival Jubilee will also operate eight-day cruises during the 2028-29 season, creating more opportunities for extended holidays.

An eight-day Bahamas cruise will depart on April 1, 2028, with scheduled visits to Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. The itinerary will offer passengers a chance to experience several island destinations during one sailing.

Another eight-day Western Caribbean voyage will depart on April 9, 2028. This cruise will visit Cozumel, Isla Tropicale and Montego Bay, Jamaica, bringing together destinations across Mexico and the Caribbean.

These longer journeys will complement the new short-cruise options, creating a wider range of choices for different types of travellers.

Galveston Gains More Flexible Cruise Options With Carnival Jubilee

The expanded Carnival Jubilee schedule will strengthen Galveston’s role as a major cruise departure point. With a broader mix of voyage lengths, travellers will have more options to plan Caribbean holidays based on their available time.

Guests will be able to take multiple short and longer duration cruises to the Caribbean between 2028-19 with Carnival’s extended cruise line offerings. During these cruises, passengers will be able to stay at several Caribbean destinations along the way and enjoy the new offerings on one of Carnival’s recently constructed cruise ships.
