Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico has launched two new culinary concepts, Perla and Ocean Terrace, adding to their food offerings at the upscale beachfront hotel located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The restaurants present two unique dining experiences for the resort’s guests.

While Perla will provide the more intimate supper club experience starting 19 October 2026, Ocean Terrace is set to launch in early November with its Mediterranean coastal cuisine menu that will be offered from breakfast until dinner time. Both new restaurants are being created under the leadership of Executive Chef Victor Rosado.

Perla Brings a Refined Supper Club Experience to Puerto Rico

Perla, whose name means pearl, draws on themes of rarity, refinement and discovery. The restaurant is designed as an intimate evening destination combining premium ingredients, sophisticated service and interactive dining. The concept is built around the tradition of sobremesa, encouraging guests to extend the meal through conversation and social interaction rather than treating dinner simply as a formal service.

Perla will open on 19 October 2026 and will feature premium seafood, high-quality cuts, wines and spirits. Its interactive offerings will include a Champagne, Martini and Caviar Cart, chef-led caviar service and tableside presentations designed to add an element of theatre to the meal.

Perla Menu Highlights Premium Seafood and Prime Cuts

The new supper club will offer a menu featuring seafood and meat dishes alongside larger-format options designed for sharing. Signature selections include dressed oysters, Hamachi with guanábana ponzu and Chilean Sea Bass. Meat-focused dishes include a Prime New York Strip, while larger dishes such as Tomahawk Steak and Whole Dover Sole are intended to create a more communal dining experience.

The combination of seafood, premium cuts, wine and tableside service positions Perla as an evening-focused restaurant within the resort’s expanded dining portfolio. The concept is designed around a sense of occasion, with the setting, service and food presentation contributing to the overall experience.

Ocean Terrace Brings Mediterranean Coastal Cuisine to the Atlantic

Ocean Terrace will provide a contrasting dining experience centred on Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and the resort’s oceanfront setting. Located alongside the resort’s pool and shoreline, the restaurant is scheduled to open in early November 2026. Its operating format will cover breakfast, lunch and dinner, allowing guests to use the restaurant throughout the day. The menu will draw inspiration from coastal destinations around the Mediterranean, combining fresh seafood with pasta, pizza, salads and shareable starters. The restaurant’s location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is central to the concept, linking the food programme with the surrounding coastal environment.

Ocean Terrace Menu Focuses on Seafood, Pasta and Pizza

The menu at Ocean Terrace will feature a combination of Mediterranean classics and dishes developed specifically for the resort. Signature selections include Charred Octopus, Shrimp Insalata, Margherita Pizza, Mussels al Limone and Italian Adobo Half Chicken. The menu is designed to suit different dining occasions, from relaxed daytime meals to evening gatherings.

Seasonal programming and recurring brunch celebrations will also form part of the restaurant’s offering, helping establish Ocean Terrace as a social venue throughout the day. Its all-day format provides another option for resort guests seeking a more casual coastal dining experience.

Two Restaurants Expand Four Seasons Puerto Rico’s Food and Beverage Portfolio

The launch of Perla and Ocean Terrace represents another stage in the development of the resort’s culinary programme by Four Seasons. The two restaurants serve different purposes within the property. Perla focuses on an elevated evening experience, while Ocean Terrace offers all-day Mediterranean-inspired dining in an open coastal setting. Together, they broaden the range of food and beverage experiences available to guests and residents.

The expansion also reinforces the resort’s focus on food and hospitality as important elements of the overall guest experience. By introducing different culinary identities, Four Seasons Puerto Rico is creating additional reasons for guests to dine within the property throughout their stay.

Palm Court Gives the Resort’s Lobby Bar a New Identity

Alongside the two new restaurants, the resort has also refreshed its existing lobby bar. Formerly known as El Bembé, the venue is now called Palm Court. The new identity retains the property’s connection to Puerto Rican and Latin-inspired flavours, while introducing a refreshed social-lounge concept.

Palm Court remains positioned as a central gathering place within the resort. Its offering includes handcrafted cocktails, elevated light bites and hospitality throughout the day. The venue takes inspiration from traditional social lounges, providing a setting where guests can gather from morning through evening. The rebranding complements the wider culinary changes taking place across the resort.

Chef Victor Rosado Leads the Resort’s Culinary Evolution

The new dining concepts are being developed under the direction of Executive Chef Victor Rosado. The culinary programme is designed around different styles of dining while maintaining a consistent focus on hospitality and personalised service. Perla and Ocean Terrace therefore represent two distinct interpretations of the resort’s culinary identity.

Perla emphasises premium ingredients, refined service and interactive presentation. Ocean Terrace focuses on Mediterranean coastal flavours, casual gatherings and the oceanfront setting. The combination allows the resort to serve different guest preferences while expanding the overall dining programme.

New Dining Concepts Strengthen Rio Grande’s Luxury Resort Experience

The additions arrive as Puerto Rico continues to develop its luxury hospitality offering. For a resort located in Rio Grande, food and beverage experiences form an important part of the overall destination proposition. Guests can now choose between a sophisticated evening supper club, an all-day coastal restaurant and a refreshed lobby social space without leaving the property.

The new restaurants also create different settings for social occasions, celebrations and everyday resort dining. Perla’s opening on 19 October will be followed by Ocean Terrace in early November, creating a phased expansion of the resort’s dining portfolio.

Four Seasons Puerto Rico Begins a New Culinary Chapter

The introduction of Perla and Ocean Terrace is indeed an upgrade in the dining facilities available at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico. These two concepts present themselves in the form of complimentary services: Perla presents itself as an exclusive supper club where gourmet food and table service are the key elements; Ocean Terrace presents itself as a Mediterranean coastal experience set against the backdrop of the ocean. In addition, the re-invented Palm Court also contributes to the social aspect of the resort, preserving its Latin/Puerto Rican ambiance while also giving it a fresh new identity.
